Research Interests:
Medard Turyasingura is a Ugandan mechanical engineer and Graduate Fellow at Makerere University’s College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT). He is a corporate member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers and has built a career that bridges academia and industry.
Academically, he is pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Makerere University (2024–2028), focusing on “Green Options for Sustainable Exploitation of Iron Ore Reserves in Uganda.” His research interests include renewable energy technologies, sustainable resource utilization, mechanical systems design, and environmental engineering.
Through his teaching, research, and industry practice, Medard contributes to advancing sustainable engineering solutions that address Uganda’s energy and resource challenges.
