Dr. Andrew Wakuma is a Ugandan architect and academic serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), Makerere University. His teaching and research emphasize the integration of sustainability, cultural identity, and community-centered approaches into architectural practice, preparing students to address the challenges of rapid urbanization and climate change.
He holds advanced qualifications in architecture and urban planning, with professional experience in designing and evaluating built environments that balance functionality, aesthetics, and resilience.
