Biography

Mr. Joseph Kamoga is a faculty member at the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), Makerere University. He specializes in land surveying and geomatics, contributing to both teaching and applied research in spatial sciences. His academic work focuses on surveying technologies, mapping, and geospatial data management, supporting infrastructure development and environmental planning in Uganda. With professional experience in land surveying practice, Mr. Kamoga integrates technical expertise with practical field applications, preparing students for careers in engineering and design. He is actively engaged in departmental activities, curriculum development, and mentorship, fostering innovation and professional growth among learners. His contributions strengthen CEDAT’s mission of advancing engineering and design education while addressing national development priorities through applied research and community-oriented projects.
