Course Description:
The course provides opportunity for advanced studio practice; students shall pursue personal directions in painting for portfolio development. Demonstrate self-direction and self motivation, Research, synthesize and produce original work, Apply problem solving techniques to real-world experiences. They will present proposals and preliminary studies for approval: Regular progress reports and critiques are scheduled with the supervisors.
Course Objectives:
The course is intended to enable students to:
- Think creatively, logically, critically, and reflectively and be able to analyze synthesize, apply, and evaluate information.
- Gain self-direction and self motivation
- Learn to investigate matters pertinent to the society, blend and produce original work
- Apply problem-solving techniques and methods of scientific inquiry to real community experiences
