On November 7th, 2024, 4th-year Mechanical Engineering students from Makerere University visited Kyampisi Living Labs in Luwero District as part of their hands-on learning experience. The visit to this innovative research and development site provided students with valuable exposure to real-world applications of various renewable energy technologies and their impact on local communities. Kyampisi Living Labs operates as a life-scale mini-grid, and it serves as a vital platform for both student research and community development.
