Assoc. Prof. Dorothy Okello Appointed Chairperson of Uganda Vocational and Technical Assessment Board

The College of Engineering, Design, Art, and Technology (CEDAT) has proudly announced the appointment of Associate Professor Dorothy Okello as Chairperson of the Uganda Vocational and Technical Assessment Board (UVTAB).

Professor Okello, who currently serves as the Dean of the School of Engineering at CEDAT, brings extensive experience in engineering education, skills development, and vocational training. Her appointment marks a pivotal moment in strengthening the connection between vocational education and university-level training in Uganda.

Her leadership at UVTAB is expected to enhance technical and vocational education in alignment with national development goals. Prof. Moses Musinguzi, Principal of CEDAT, expressed confidence that Prof. Okello’s expertise will contribute significantly to advancing Uganda’s technical education sector.

The CEDAT community and colleagues nationwide have extended their heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Okello on this prestigious achievement.
