MES Incubation Program.
A program to empower and train students to develop and transform their innovative ideas into
viable businesses as well as solutions to global and national challenges.
SUMMARY
The Makerere Engineering Society is setting up a program aimed at nurturing the entrepreneurial
spirit among engineering students. By providing mentorship, resources, and a collaborative
environment, we empower students to transform their innovative ideas into viable businesses and
solutions to global and national challenges. Our goal is to bridge the gap between academic
learning and real-world application, thus contributing to the economic development of Uganda and
beyond.
We believe that for the Incubation program to succeed, funding as well as extensive training for
the students is needed in the form of extensive interventions with professionals in the various
fields
