The Makerere University GIS Centre is an organization operating under the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology at Makerere University. At the GIS Centre, we operate under the principle of delivering the highest quality output achievable throughout all our undertakings.

About GIS Centre

The University GIS Centre is a university-wide centre founded in 2001 under the Directorate of Research and Graduate Training to provide Interdisciplinary Geospatial and earth observation competencies to University Units . It is housed under the College of Engineering, Design, Art, and Technology at Makerere University.
