The Makerere University GIS Centre is an organization operating under the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology at Makerere University. At the GIS Centre, we operate under the principle of delivering the highest quality output achievable throughout all our undertakings. The centre offers GIS short courses, consultancy services, community outreach and geospatial research.
Our goal is to build the best geospatial research and GIS learning centre that is equipped with modern and efficient systems to harness GIS as a tool for enhancing the efficiency and productivity of various sectors such as; commerce, health and agriculture.
