The BFA proposed program seeks to train job creators as opposed to job seekers. It follows therefore that through this program, MTSIFA contributes towards attaining millennium goals of ending poverty and hunger, environmental sustainability,promotion of gender equality and women empowerment
The Bachelor of Visual CcommunicationDesign and Multimedia is a broad spectrum that includes signs, typography, drawing, graphic design, illustration, industrial design advertising, animation, social design, colour and electronic resources. It involves 2D and 3D foundations. Indeed, graphic design is a subset of visual communication. It is problem-solving through typo, illustration, photography, etc. it is about user experience UX/UI.
The Master program. Through various components of the program such as critical studies, research studies, studio practice, spatial practice, media theory, and curatorial studies, students are incited further to realize and contextualize their own projects.
The programme is grounded in the professional disciplines of Art and design but also strongly encourages interdisciplinary study in Art and Design History, Art Criticism, Art and Social Equity, Art and Health, Design Communication, Design and Social Responsibility, Art and Gender, Material Culture, Art and Politics, Product and Systems design, and Art Education.
