Dr. Apollo Buregyeya Attains his Ph.D in Civil Engineering Materials

The community at the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology continue to congratulate Dr. Apollo Buregyeya upon his award of the Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Civil Engineering Materials at The University of Witwatersrand Johannesburg.

Dr. Apollo Buregyeya from the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department officially received his Doctor of Philosophy Degree at a colorful ceremony at The University of Witwatersrand Johannesburg recently.

Many congratulatory messages flowed in following the attainment of this meritorious and prestigious award, characterized by hard work, resilience and determination. 

In reaction to the various laudatory messages from friends and colleagues, Dr. Apollo Buregyeya expressed appreciation for the good will. ‘Thank you everyone. You’re the forest in which I’m planted. You’ve kept me straight up, all of you, especially Umaru Bagampadde and Dr. Robinah Kulabako. CEDAT facilitated me financially to cover tuition and travel for the year 2018. Thank you @Principal-CEDAT and the CEDAT leadership for making this provision accessible to me.” He said .  

He further noted that the colleagues at the College of Engineering, Design, Art and technology (CEDAT) were a great source of moral and spiritual support. ‘I can’t thank all of you here and finish. @Baptist, you gave me Mapronano letters to support my application for study permits. @Prof. Dorothy, introduction letters to the embassies.’
