Eng. Felix Twinomucunguzi successfully defended his Ph.D Thesis

Eng. Felix Twinomucunguzi successfully defended his Ph.D Thesis titled, A social –Technical Hazard Analysis of Emerging Organic Contaminants in Peri- urban Shallow Ground Water in Uganda.

The decision made by the Doctoral was announced by the Assoc. Prof. Dorothy Okello, the Dean School of Engineering who chaired the Ph.D Defence session held at the CEDAT Conference room yesterday.  She congratulated the student and extended her appreciation to the team of examiners that supported the processes leading to the successful defence.

The team of examiners comprised of the opponent Dr. Martin Kalibbala, from the Training and Capacity Development Department, National Water and Sewerage Corporation, the panellists comprised Prof. J.B Kirabira from Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Robinson Odong from the Department of Zoology, Entomology and Fisheries Sciences in CONAS, Dr. Herbert Kalibbala, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Dr Wasswa John from Chemistry Department

Also in attendance were his supervisors namely Prof. Frank Kansiime, from the Department of Environmental Management in CAES and Dr. Robinah Kulabako , from the department of Civil and Environmental Management.

The public defense attracted a number of people in the public both physical and online drawn from various backgrounds including the family of the candidate.
