Research Interests
Dr. Musa Manga is a Lecturer in the Department of Construction Economics and Management at Makerere University’s College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT). His academic and professional expertise spans construction project management, sustainable infrastructure development, and the economics of the built environment. Dr. Manga’s research focuses on integrating cost-effective engineering solutions with sustainability principles, addressing challenges in construction planning, resource management, and environmental impact. He has contributed to applied projects that enhance infrastructure delivery in Uganda, while also mentoring students in construction economics, project appraisal, and management practices. His scholarly work is complemented by collaborations with international partners, reflecting a commitment to advancing knowledge in construction economics and sustainable development. Through teaching, research, and consultancy, Dr. Manga plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of construction professionals and supporting Uganda’s broader development agenda.
