Dr. Ronald Musenze is a Ugandan civil and environmental engineer and academic, serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Makerere University’s College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT). He holds a PhD in Engineering and has built a career focused on advancing sustainable water and sanitation systems.
His teaching portfolio includes courses such as Public Health Engineering and Environmental Quality Management, where he integrates theory with practical solutions to address Uganda’s pressing infrastructure and environmental challenges. His research interests span wastewater treatment, water and sanitation systems, environmental impacts, and community public health, reflecting his commitment to improving living conditions through engineering innovation.
Beyond academia, Dr. Musenze is also active in professional practice, contributing to the Uganda Association of Consulting Engineers and working with Air Water Earth Ltd on civil and environmental engineering projects. His work bridges research, teaching, and consultancy, making him a key contributor to Uganda’s sustainable development agenda.
