Research interests:
Junior Patrick is a committed academic at Makerere University’s College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), where he teaches in the Department of Construction Economics & Management. His work emphasizes the integration of engineering knowledge with economic and managerial principles to strengthen Uganda’s construction industry and infrastructure development. Through teaching and mentorship, he equips students with analytical, technical, and leadership skills that prepare them to address complex challenges in the built environment. His research interests include sustainable construction practices, project management, and community‑driven engineering solutions, reflecting a broader vision of harnessing knowledge for social and economic transformation. At CEDAT, Junior Patrick actively contributes to institutional initiatives that promote interdisciplinary collaboration and academic visibility. He is passionate about bridging theory and practice, ensuring that construction economics and management education responds to contemporary challenges while empowering graduates to become agents of change in their communities.
