Kaweesi Ronald is a faculty member in the Department of Construction Economics and Management at Makerere University’s College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT). His teaching and research emphasize construction project management, infrastructure economics, and sustainable development in the built environment. Ronald is committed to bridging academic knowledge with industry practice, equipping students with practical skills in cost estimation, project planning, and risk management. His research interests include sustainable construction practices, digital innovation in project delivery, and strategies for enhancing efficiency and resilience in Uganda’s construction sector. He has actively participated in collaborative initiatives that strengthen academia–industry partnerships, ensuring that research outputs are relevant and impactful. Passionate about mentorship, Ronald promotes inclusive participation in engineering and construction education, encouraging diverse voices in technical fields.
