Research Interests:
Lubwama Ibrahim is an academic at Makerere University’s College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), where he contributes to teaching, research, and institutional development. His work focuses on advancing construction economics, project management, and sustainable engineering practices that respond to Uganda’s growing infrastructure needs. Through his teaching, he equips students with analytical and managerial skills essential for effective participation in the construction industry. His research interests include cost management, sustainable construction technologies, and community‑driven approaches to infrastructure development. Lubwama Ibrahim is actively engaged in collaborative projects that strengthen interdisciplinary learning and promote innovation within CEDAT. He is committed to bridging theory and practice, ensuring that graduates are prepared to address contemporary challenges in construction and engineering while contributing to national development. His academic contributions reflect a broader vision of using knowledge to foster social transformation and institutional visibility.
