Frank Ssemakula is a Ugandan electrical engineer and academic leader dedicated to advancing engineering education and applied research. He holds a Master of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Technological University Dublin, Ireland, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Makerere University. Currently, he serves as Head of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Karamoja Peace and Technology University (KAPATU), where he oversees curriculum development and fosters innovation in technical education. Alongside his academic leadership, he is a Graduate Research Assistant at netLabs!UG, Kampala, contributing to projects in communication systems and optimization. His professional interests span electronic and communication engineering, radio access networks, and ICT for development, with a focus on bridging theory and practice to address Uganda’s technological challenges. Through his dual roles in academia and research, Ssemakula plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of engineers and innovators.
