Naluzze Winniefred is a Ugandan academic and designer dedicated to advancing applied design education and sustainable creative practices. She serves as a Lecturer at the Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Arts, College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), Makerere University. With a background in Industrial Art and Applied Design, her teaching focuses on visual communication, product innovation, and eco‑friendly approaches to design. Her research interests include applied design solutions for contemporary challenges, sustainable creative practices, and the role of design in community development. Winniefred combines academic teaching with practical design projects, empowering students to apply creative problem‑solving to real‑world issues. Through her mentorship and professional engagement, she contributes to strengthening Makerere University’s visibility as a hub for innovation in art and design.
