Paul Bogere is a Ugandan electrical engineer and academic specializing in communication and broadcasting systems. He currently serves at the School of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Makerere University, where he teaches and conducts research in electrical engineering, communication engineering, and telecommunications engineering. His scholarly work focuses on advancing broadcasting technologies, with a particular interest in television and radio broadcasting. Bogere is actively engaged in projects that explore the future of sound broadcasting, including his current research initiative, “DAB Options for Future Terrestrial Sound Broadcasting.” This project investigates digital audio broadcasting (DAB) as a sustainable and innovative pathway for Uganda’s broadcasting sector. His contributions reflect a commitment to bridging academic research with practical industry applications, ensuring that Uganda’s broadcasting infrastructure evolves to meet modern technological demands.
