Mr. Spencer Muhiire is a Ugandan designer, researcher, and lecturer at the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), Makerere University. He teaches in the Department of Visual Communication Design and Multimedia at the Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Art. His academic and professional work emphasizes design innovation, visual communication, and the integration of creative practice into education. With years of experience in both teaching and consultancy, Mr. Muhiire has contributed to projects that highlight the role of design in community development and sustainable growth. His research interests include multimedia pedagogy, applied design for social impact, and the exploration of African aesthetics within contemporary practice. Passionate about nurturing creative talent, he equips students with practical skills that prepare them for both local and international opportunities. His contributions reflect a commitment to advancing design education and strengthening Uganda’s creative industries.
