Dr. Michael Lubwama Senior Lecturer

My research interests revolve around energy and materials. I develop bio-composite plastics with agricultural waste fillers and study their properties including flame retardancy and biodegradability. Briquettes from agricultural wastes are another area of interest. Properties of DLC and Si-DLC thin films deposited on nitrile rubber were investigated. My teaching courses are Numerical methods for Energy Engineering; Engineering Mathematics; and Mechanics of Materials.
