Course Description

The student is made aware of the urban and regional planning principles and practices. The planning process defines the environment within which the built environment is to be developed.

Objectives/aim

  • Introducing concepts/issues in planning theory and practice
  • Give an overview of scientific roots of urban and regional planning theory
  • Introduction of Urban Planning and Design concepts and methods at the various scales of theĀ built and non built environment.
