Course Description
Study of the history and basic principles of fashion and its trends to the present day. Examine the tools, materials and equipment for a fashion designer. Drawing for fashion process, illustration and display related to human figure proportions, movement, posture and balance. The values of colour and textures in fashion design expressions.
Prerequisite: None.
Course Objectives
- To give students insight into the world of fashion and its history
- To equip students with working methods that enable each student to develop practical drawing skills.
- Students to learn how to use industrial machines and sewing equipment
