
The Makerere Association of Surveying Students (MASS), under the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), Makerere University, hosted its annual Dinner recently at the Front-Page Hotel in Kampala. The Dinner provided a platform to celebrate achievements, recognize outstanding contributions, and usher in new leadership. It was a night of inspiration, marked by the presence of distinguished guests including Joel Opero RSU MISU MRICS, Chairperson of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (Uganda Chapter), and Associate Professor Kizito Maria Kasule, Deputy Principal of CEDAT.

The evening also featured the presentation of certificates of service to outgoing cabinet members, acknowledging their commitment and hard work. This was followed by the swearing‑in and handover ceremony to the new cabinet, symbolizing continuity and the promise of fresh leadership within MASS.
