The 7th National Conference on Communications (NCC) 2022

The College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), Makerere University, in collaboration with Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), is organizing the 7th National Conference on Communications (NCC 2022).

The conference will take place for two days from June 21 to June 22, 2022 in a blended approach where stakeholders can attend both physically at Makerere University and virtually via zoom. The main objective of this annual conference is to present peer-reviewed research work, discuss engineering solutions to local challenges, understand industry trends and needs.

The theme of this year's conference is "Inclusive Digital Transformation Through Innovation". Under this, two innovation competitions have been organized:
1. School ICT Club Competition 
2. Cybersecurity Competition

We invite all stakeholders in their different capacities to attend the conference so as to exchange knowledge aimed towards solving existing challenges.
