Makerere University is inviting submissions for the First Annual International Green Mobility Conference & Innovation Expo (IGMCIE 2026), scheduled for 29th to 31st October 2026. The event will provide a platform for researchers, policymakers, innovators, and civil society to share ideas on sustainable transport solutions for Africa’s rapidly urbanizing cities.
The conference theme, “Innovative Green Mobility for Sustainable Cities and Thriving Communities”, highlights the urgent need to address traffic congestion, air pollution, and fossil fuel dependence while promoting inclusive, low-carbon mobility systems.
