The Department of Architecture & Physical Planning, Makerere University is organizing an official launching of the Makerere University Regional Centre for Urban Research Governance and Innovation (MURCURGI).

The main objective this event is to officially launch the newly established Centre for Urban Research, Governance and Innovation at Makerere University.

The issues to be discussed will include but not limited to findings of the initial research under this Centre done by experts from the Department of Architecture and Physical Planning and share experiences, best practices and lessons learnt from both sides in an effort to validate the relevance of the newly created urban research Centre.
