Brief Biography

Kizito Maria Kasule (born 1967) is a Ugandan artist and entrepreneur. His currently the Deputy Principal, College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology. He is also the former Dean, Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Art (MTSIFA), Makerere University. His work has been shown throughout East Africa, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Australia, and France, as well as in Denmark and Norway. He has been a lecturer at Makerere University since 1992. In 2003 Kizito completed his PhD in art history from Makerere University and won a scholarship to Burren College of Art in Ireland.
