Joseph Jjagwe to start PhD study in “Iron oxide based Nanocomposite bio-adsorbents for water treatment

Mr. Joseph Jjaggwe from the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology, makerere University is one of the 10 Ph.D students that were selected following the first call for proposal of the 100 Ph.D’s for Africa Program

Theprogram (#excellenceinafrica ) aims at contributing to the emergence of a new generation of talented young researchers in Africa and to nurture excellence in the academic sector throughout the continent.

Mr. Joseph Jjagwe, will undertake his study in “Iron oxide based Nanocomposite bio-adsorbents for water treatment”,and will besupervised by Prof. Peter Wilberforce Olupot, Senior Lectuere, Department of Mechanical Engineering, at CEDAT and the EPFL co-supervision of Prof. Sandro Carrara.
