Course Description

This course introduces the student to the analysis of the structural elements of the building as a way of ensuring stability of the building.

Objectives/aim

  • Acquire analytical capacity for linear calculation of structures.
  • Acquire first concepts about metallic structure, reinforced concrete and foundations.
  • To make structural analysis as a method of assessment and correlation based on the learning of the acquired physical knowledge.
  • Obtain basic criteria to develop the implantation and construction of an industrial building.
